After succeeding in the world of video game consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch, Epic Games surprised many by announcing that Fortnite was making the leap to smartphones.
At the moment it is only available on iOS, and if anyone doubted whether this game would be a success, just look at the numbers. In the first month, Fortnite made an incredible $25 million! To give you an idea, it took another successful game like Super Mario Run half a year to get the same amount of money...
And for Android users, all that's left to do is wait. Epic Games does not confirm the official release date, but has released a list of devices that will be compatible with Fortnite. The list naturally includes flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 or the Google Pixel 2 XL, but also more modest smartphones such as the Galaxy A5 (2017) or the Huawei P8 Lite (2017).
